[ 04/11/2026 by zagrebdancegrandprix 0 Comments ]

Another major sports event is coming to Croatia! The World DanceSport Federation (WDSF) has awarded Croatia the hosting rights for the European Under 21 Ten Dance Championship (WDSF European Championship Under 21 Ten Dance)!

📍 Zagreb, Croatia
📅 May 23, 2027

We are thrilled that this major championship will be held as part of the traditional XIII. Zagreb Dance Grand Prix, once again cementing Zagreb’s position on the map of key international DanceSport events.

This prestigious competition will bring together Europe’s best youth dance couples, who will battle for the European title across all ten Standard and Latin American dances. The championship holds immense significance for Croatian DanceSport, as Croatia boasts exceptionally talented and promising competitive dance couples in this specific age category. Performing in front of a home crowd will give them a unique opportunity to test their skills against Europe’s finest, showcase their quality, and fight for top results with the backing of local fans.

Securing the hosting rights is a massive recognition for Croatian DanceSport, the Croatian DanceSport Federation (HSPS), Dance Club Spin, and everyone who has worked tirelessly for years on the development and organization of elite dance events.

See you in Zagreb in 2027! 🇭🇷✨

Zagreb i jeste moj drugi dom.

Filip Debelec, Croatia

Coach DC Top Step - Sisak

Zagreb Dance Grand Prix is a tournament that all our dancers are always happy to visit. Not just because of the friendly atmosphere, but because of the multitude of dancers from Croatia, the region, and even the world. The organizer even makes sure that the coaches are neither hungry nor thirsty all day, because some of them are by the podium with their athletes from 7 am until the end at 10 pm. Certainly a competition not to be missed and where Sisak not only feels welcome but also a part of Spin's family!

Petra Jeričević, ŠPK Samobor

Trenerica i predsjednica ŠPK Samobor
